Location: Burwell, Cambridgeshire
Comprising of 15 new industrial units which we have now received Planning consent and Building regulation approval. Our brief was to design 15 B2 light industrial starter units on a site located within the Burwell development envelope. The site was currently being used as a transport storage base and has hardstanding over the entire site. The units will be for rent or for sale once built within use class order B2 with mezzanine floors within 12 of the units.
The scheme provides 40 car and vehicle parking spaces calculated on the gross internal area at 1 space per 50sqm. Each unit has an external provision for parking of one large transit van outside the roller shutter doors.
KJ Architects have been appointed by our client as Contract administrators and will be overseeing the works onsite for the duration of the contract to Practical Completion.
