The Stable Lads Welfare Trust Housing Association is Racing Welfare’s social housing provider. The charity provides advice and support to anyone currently working in, or retired from, the thoroughbred horseracing and breeding industry. Keith Johns has worked with the charity over a number of years and has successfully delivered a wide range of projects on our behalf. His most recent involvement has been in preparing and submitting an outline planning application for a new build scheme of 21 retirement flats; a large scale special needs architecture project.
Keith has demonstrated the ability to fully understand the ‘client’s’ brief, to offer advice and guidance as appropriate, and to draw up plans that meet with our requirements and expectations. During our most recent planning application he was able to build up good relationships with the Local Planning Authority and presented well at our neighbourhood consultation meetings and with the Town Council. This has resulted in a positive outcome with no objections.
